The mission of the Family Centers is to strengthen and support families and communities. There are five Family Center locations at host sites throughout the 90 mile long peninsula from Southern Door to Washington Island and each offers a variety of social and educational programs for people of all ages.
Family Centers are committed to primary prevention services that build on strengths within the family unit. They provide social activities that offer a chance for family members to re-discover the art of having fun together. Community building is evident in the networking and mentoring that results from attendance at events. Creative workshops provide educational information and parent support groups are among the offerings.

THE WELLNESS CENTER OF DOOR COUNTY:
The Wellness Center of Door County provides affordable and confidential sexual, reproductive and related health care for men and women in an educational environment that respects the dignity and choices of each person. Services include birth control, HIV and STD testing, exams and health counseling and education. Services available in Sister Bay and Sturgeon Bay!
